    I think you may mis-understand the term 'blocking' If you block someone, it does not prevent them from signing into Yahoo Messenger It prevents them from contacting you and you will always appear 'offline' to them on their contact list. To block or Ignore someone on Yahoo Messenger 1) Make a note of their username 2) Right click on their avatar - scroll down and select 'Delete' 3) Left click ( > ) 'Messenger' above your avatar > Preferences > Ignore List 4) Select the second option 'Ignore only the people below' 5) Click 'Add' and type in their user name in the box when it opens click 'Ignore' 6) Ensure they are in the Ignore List window 7) Click 'Apply' Click 'OK' 8) Finally check your Email address book and delete them if they appear there.

the only way for you to block is to log in that ID using incorrect passwords until it locks the ID. lol.

NO one CAN use your Messenger but you! Unless they're using your id and password and you can find that out easy enough by looking at you messages and seeing if someone else is sending them. To view your messages, click Contacts on the Messenger Toolbar and scroll to Archive. Click there and look for your messages by person's name and date of message. Once you find the message you can open it by clicking on it. Also, in the Archive Toolbar, you can click Message and see your options for the message you just opened, including copying it.
