Offline messages?

uhmm i logged on to my messenger today..sudden;ly the power got cut.. i ***** read any of the offline msgs..and i hadnt clicked save my messages in the archive tab..is there any way i can retrieve those messgaes..they are very very important to me...and cant be re sent...i desperately need help

Answer:
Sorry, there is no way you can retrieve offline messages when the computer shuts down. Archive Message is stored on your computer, so Yahoo cannot help you retrieve them. We are using Yahoo's software program to read our Message Archive (they are on dat.file format)
