How do I change the messenger picture?

The picture on my yahoo messenger won't change. How do I fix it?

• I'm using that new beta version of y!m and I keep trying to change my picture. But it's stuck on the picture I've got on it now! It gets stuck that way for quite a while. I've tried everything, like deleting the picture, restarting messenger and all that, but nothing happens. Is there any way to fix this?

  To change your picture, go to "edit"-click "screen avatar" then go to pictures, you can then down load your own picture or select one there, than make the changes you like, hit "save" and it should happen. Or you can go to yahoo "help-search" type in what you are looking to do, follow directions..........
