How do I get sounds on my e-mail?

How do i get the sounds to notify me of new email?

  on top of your messenger ,click on messenger. go down, click on preferences.on the left click on alerts and sounds. on the right go down and click on where it says ,i receive a message in yahoo mail.make sure that the box that says playing a sound is checked. go over click on browse,click on the sound you want .then go down click,apply then click ok. hope this helps
