Why does yahoo cut off my avatar?

Why won't my avatar load into yahoo messenger?

  • I have an avatar saved on the avatars site but in yahoo messenger when I click on the "change display image" thing it shows that I don't have an avatar. If I click "use my avatar" it links me to the page where I have the avatar saved because it thinks there isn't one. And It won't show up in the messenger.

    I have the exact same problem. I am not sure what is up with it. Did your used to work prior to this? Did you install a new antivirus or firewall suite? Mine worked fine untill I got a newer verson of my security software and I think that may have something to do with it but my avatar shows up on my 360 page and in my mail. Others can see it if I show myself as online to them but I can not see it. When I switch between "show my pic" and "show my avatar" the avatar is just a white box. When I got to the home page it's there just fine. This is baffeling as hell. If you get yours fixed would you tell me how you did it?
