How do I get Yahoo Messenger off my computer?

A few days ago I uninstalled Yahoo messenger and all of the crap that goes with it. My computer went down today and I had to restore my computer to a previous state when I still had it. Every time I go to the control panel and hit add/remove, it tells me "Could not open install log file" How do I get this BACK off of my computer??? Help me!

click start Choose settings Click control panel Choose "add or remove programs" follow the instructions Peace Jim .

Try going to Start....Then....Control Panel.....Add/Remove Programs....Uninstall Yahoo! Messenger!!!

Go under programs after clicking on START, look under Yahoo and then Messenger. RIght click and delete. Confirm and you should be done. I just did that to my own computer tonight!
