How do I change my name from being shown?

QUESTIONS on how to change ur ID instead of having ur name shown is answered RIGHT HERE!?

here's how it works all you have to do is change ur nickname and also your name for your profile on yahoo! so just put it on what ever you like and then you have to sign out and wait for a couple ours then your screen name will be there or YAHOO ID instead of your name! THANKS EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME!! I WANT TO HELP ANYONE WHO NEEDS IT!

U will hv to do two things to solve ur problem. First, Follow this path. Open ur messenger window> contacts> my profile> click on ur ID> edit>it will take u to ur 360 page> click settings> it will take u to basic info> make changes in Name and Nick Name as u need> make changes in Yahoo Identity display> save. Second, click on messenger> my contact details> make changes here as per ur need> save and close. It will solve ur problem.
