How to fix computer screen problem?

HELP! Everything on my computer is so big I can only view a fourth of my screen! How do I fix this problem?

  • My screen is so huge that I cant even change the resolution because I can not see the buttons I need to change it! I even tried to right click on start... the box appears and I am able to set it, I just can't click on apply cause you cant see the button to click on! HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

    Can you get to "view" at the top of the screen? Click -Text size - click Has your computer gone to safe mode ? Ok the first answerer is way smarter than me

You right click on your desktop and go to properties and then you go to settings and change the screen resolution to the size that looks best depending on the size of you moniter

How did this happen ? Either your settings got messed up, or your video card is about to crap out on you... or your drivers are corrupted. Regardless, the easy way is you have to "use the force" by that I mean even though you maybe cant see the "apply" or "OK" button - you will have to use the keyboard, and using tab, and return alot. Most people dont know keyboard shortcuts though... The other method is: to uninstall and reinstall your video card, if its PCI, just put the card in a different slot, if it is something else then you need to go into safe mode and roll back your system using system restore. (press F5 @ startup, roll back your system, then reboot)

go to control panel and bring up display and go down to configuration and lower your bar

Start > Control Panel > Display > Click on the "Appearance" Tag> look for Font Size > select "Normal". Note: If you can't see your START button on your screen, then press the key that looks like a flag right next to the left ALT button. So Flag button, then press "c" and you'll get access to your control panel... I'm assuming you're using a PC... Good luck! and please add additional info if my method didn't work.... :-)
