Does the Nokia n81 support yahoo messenger and Skype?

Enable paste urls into yahoo messenger?

  • In yahoo messenger (last two versions) when I chat I am unable to paste web urls. The person on the far end only sees IP addresses that don't link correctly to the sites I pasted. this happens with "anyone" that I chat with. I am able to see urls that they paste. On my old computer I contacted yahoo messenger support and they walked me through reinstallation (even though I knew how and had already done it), completely wiped all my browser settings and tried to make changes to my network settings. Nothing worked and I still had the problem. I just got a new computer (windows 7 64bit) and have installed a fresh version of yahoo messenger and the problem is still there, so I can only surmise that it is a setting in my yahoo profile or in yahoo messenger itself. How can I fix this. I have had to move to skype whenever possible so I can share urls. Does anyone know the setting for this? Thank you.

    I am intrigued by this question as a new laptop and new Messenger should not replicate the same problem. It will something that is common to both systems - using the same browser,router, or anti virus for example. I use Firefox as default with IE8 and McAfee I wonder what your anti virus program is - Not Eset nod by any chance ? All I can suggest is to do a few trials with a different browser disable your security and enable Windows Firewall and Defender
