How can I block someone from yahoo messenger?

  • I have someone that won't quit messaging me on messenger. I have tried to block him but evidently I haven't been doing something right. Can someone please tell me how to block this idiot from my messenger please!

    Messenger > Preferences > Ignore List : type the name of that idiot inside the box and click OK to apply the Ignore. from now, this idiot cannot send you messages anymore. oh well, not unless, he will create another idiotic name to catch you again.
