How do I change users on my computer for Yahoo?

How do i change the yahoo IM alert sound on the computer?

  • I want it to be different a louder sound so i can hear it if im not near the computer, my husbands in thearmy, so we talk alot on yahoo when he's at work, and i want to be able to hear it while im doing something around our (smalll) apartment. lol. is there a way to change the alert tone/sound for yahoo IM/

    i would hook up our Speakers we used for our TV that blew up. and turn the speakers up all the way.. loudest thing we have in the house boo. lol you coulda have just emailed me and asked =P

open messenger > on top toolbar messenger > preferences > alerts and sounds - highlight the alert you want to change - browse the sound you want to use > apply > ok while you are away from your computer turn the volume up - right click the speaker icon down by the clock - open volume mixer and raise volume.
