How can i stop yahoo messenger from automatically logging me on?

When i open yahoo messenger it automatically logs on. how can i stop that and make it wait for me to enter my user name and password?

Change the preferences on your yahoo messenger to not log in upon start up. To do this, sign in to yahoo messenger, click Messenger, Preferences, then General. At the top of this page, it says, "When I start up my computer:" Uncheck this box and it will no longer automatically sign you in when you turn on your computer.

when it does that log off from the toolbar and it should show your screen name and your password. below that it should show 3 boxes. one says remember me. the other says log in as invisible and the other should say log in automaticly. click the checks out of all of them then back on.
