How can i get my display to to stay so my contacts can see when i am on line,i have put it but still dont see.?

i follow the steps and still i dont see the picture i have put in my display image can some one give me a clue thanks.

Answer:
There is a problem with pictures displaying at the moment. Mine keeps disappearing and reappearing again. It sometimes blacks out completely or changes into a ghost like avatar. Hopefully Yahoo are working on the problem.
