How can we recieve Yahoo mail alerts on our mobile for free?

Why don't i receive new mail alerts?

The little pop ups and the little envelope won't show that i have new mail and I don't understand why. I have the preferences marked to show me those alerts, but it doesn't. Its truely annoying. It shows when someone signs in or out of yahoo messenger, but not when I recieve new mail. And honestly, I'd really like to know when I have new mail. So if any of you have any suggestions please help!!..thanx

Same with me. It started yesterday and continued throughout today. I checked preferences too, no changes there, so hoping that all is back to normal soon. I was just wondering if yahoo changed something and eliminated this feature. I hope not!!

Mine hasn't been working lately either. They'll get it fixed I guess.

it seems like we have done the same things to make yahoo messenger work normally again but it's yahoo problem so have to wait till it's fixed then. Nothing we can do with it.

Hey, that's funny you should ask that, because I stopped getting my alerts today. Maybe something is going on with Yahoo. I double checked to see if something had been done to my preferances, but everything was the same. I don't think it's something we did. Hopefully, tomorrow things will be back to normal.

Yes. I'm having problems too. I checked my preferences...everything is the same. Hopefully yahoo will fix this soon
