How to use Yahoo avatar for Yahoo Messenger for Mac?

I just downloaded Yahoo Messenger for Mac 3.0 beta, and have been having problems trying to use my avatar in Yahoo messenger. I click the silhouette icon and a drop down menu comes down with My Display Image and My Profiles. When I click My Display Image, a box with the Display Image settings pops up and I click to use avatar and i get sent to the Yahoo Avatars page. Please advise! Thank you!

Click "My Activity" at top of page Select "Edit My Preferences" Click "Update photo or avatar" Follow instructions to select your photo/avatar Click "Submit" on bottom of original page when done To make a carton avatar: http://avatar.yahoo.com Make sure your Pulse profile is not hidden. :o)
