How do I change the way my name appears on messenger, shows my legal name instead of my yahoo ID on one screen?
-
on the main messenger screen it suddently shows my full legal name along side my message when I send. On the email screen chat it shows just my first name and on webmessenger it shows my yahooID. Why the difference and how do I remove my full legal name on main messenger and change it to my Yahoo ID.

Answer:
Since the last update this has happened to a few users unvoluntarily. To get it changed go to your yahoo messenger friends list. Click on messenger, then click on "my contact details", underneath the box in which you could enter your first, last and middle name is a box that says nickname. Enter your new nick, save it and you're done.
