How do I delete the whole message archive on the Mac Yahoo Messenger?

Not able to delete one saved message in yahoo messenger archive?

  • i am not able to delete one saved message in yahoo messenger archive. whenever i delete it, after re-login... it again appears there as it is. i uninstalled the messenger even but the problem is same.it deleted all other saved messages but this few chat lines are remain there. i tried 100 times but it didn't work... please solve this problem !!

    Reboot your computer. Exit Yahoo Messenger by right clicking the Yahoo icon by your clock and choosing Exit. Now go into the location Archives are saved on your computer and manually delete this. In XP that would be My Computer>>C:drive>>Program Fiiles>>Yahoo>>Messenger>>Profiles folder. If you have Windows Vista then this link will tell you how to get to your Message Archive: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messenger/messenger9/messenger/mstacopyarchive.html;_ylt=AidpLUGUHypbIzOEe6cgRzGQLCV4 If you still cannot delete something, then reboot your computer and go into safe mode and delete it while in safe mode. If you do not know how to boot into safe mode, you can do an internet search for instructions on booting into safe mode for your Operating System.
