How do I delete new status messages that I have created?

How do i delete all status messages i created?

  • i understand that as i add new ones old ones will be deleted but i am trying to delete the ones i dont want and keep the ones i do. it doesnt seem to work that way. any help??

  • Answer:

    You have to create new ones. The old ones go away after you make a sixth message, the older messages go away completely when you have created newer ones. It all works with 5, just keep overwriting and the older ones will disappear, you can't delete them, there is no way but to overwrite them with new ones.

you can download and use Andy's Clear/Edit Messenger status history utility which allows easy editing and deletion of the messages without touching your registry. His utility will will let your remove / edit your previous Yahoo Messenger status messages or you can either clear all or just select which ones to remove, you can also edit existing ones (for like if you do a typo etc) or create new ones.
