How to stop saving conversations?

How can i stop yahoo messenger from saving my conversations?

    archives are encrypted and stored as .dat files on the computer from which the conversation originated at... C:\ Program Files\ Yahoo!\ Messenger\ Profiles \yahoo ID \ Archive\ Messages (remove the spaces from the path above :) to disable and clear archiving of your messages via yahoo messenger... Messenger > Preferences select the category Archive (left hand side) make sure "No, do not save any of my messages" is selected then click on "Clear Archive Now" hit Apply, hit OK if you are at all concerned about any remaining archives head to your archive directory C:\ Program Files\ Yahoo!\ Messenger\ Profiles \ your yahoo ID \ Archive\ Messages (remove the spaces from the path above :) and manually delete any .dat files that may remain or the entire Yahoo! ID profile directory
