How do I change my message font in Mac Messenger?
-
I'm using Messenger for Mac (latest build), trying to change the font for *my* outgoing messeges. When I go into the "Messaging" section of Preferences, the "Always use my fonts and colors" option changes BOTH my outgoing messages and incoming. I can temporarily change my outgoing font with Apple-T (Show Fonts), but this change never lasts longer than my current session. I want to permanently change the font my messages go out in, but still see my friends' fonts and colors for their messages.

Answer:
when you set your font to what you want it to be, make sure you save it before you exit your preference, when u check for your font to override your friends font, if you use the same color as they do, ur's will be shown to you and their's will be the default color
