Why cant i go idle on yahoo messenger?

i mean a few days ago i would go idle, now it wont even say it at all. i have all my prefrences right, is yahoo just acting dumb????

go check your idle settings... so to messenger menu.. privacy option.. idle status.. check if theres a check on the checkbox show me idle...

make sure that in your yahoo messenger preferences under the privacy section that your idle time is set and enabled.
