Help! How do I add some of my contacts to Yahoo Messenger?

    Adding a Contact to Yahoo Messenger There are 3 ways to add someone to your yahoo friend's list and remember it is polite to ask first before sending out an request. 1. In the chat room, select the name from the chatter's list and right click and then Add to Messenger List. The person will get a request for this that they can accept, deny, or accept and allow you to add them back. 2. At the top of Yahoo messenger click Contacts then Add a contact and then you would enter their yahoo ID there. 3. to add a new contact you have to click at the add icon (+) from the messenger. then yahoo will give you more instruction. But if you wanna add a contact that you are currently chatting with, you can press ctrl+shift+A then the add window will come. take kr N have fun

Hi, You can add yahoo contacts on to your messenger by knowing one's Yahoo ID or complete Email Address. 3 follwing ways can be used to add a contact. 1> If you are chatting witha a person using IM ( instant message ) window , ( a ) you can add the id on to your messenger by clicking the add button located at the right hand top cornor of the IM window , or ( b ) you can click actions tab on the top tool bar of the IM window Seleect and click Contact Options select Add to messenger contact , you can add the following user on to list. 2> If you are not using an Instant message IM window, and wish to add a contact , then you can use the Add button ( + ) symbol on the messenger to add contacts 3> You can also add contacts by clicking the Contacts Tab - Add contacts on the Yahoo messenger main.

Open messenger and go to Contacts (on the top). There will be an option to add contact, so choose that. If you know their IM name, this makes it easy. If not, you can search for the person (I have done this, without luck). They will then be added, and a message will be sent to them asking if it's ok. You're done!

click on contacts at the top of the yahoo messenger box. it will pull up another box, type in the name or email of the friend you wish to ad, click next, then finish. you have your friend added.

there 2 simple ways: 1.Just send them an invitation asking them to join or 2. At the top of Yahoo messenger click Contacts then Add a contact and then you would enter their yahoo ID there.
