New yahoo messenger. in custom install, it will not let me custom install to D:\yahoo messenger.?

When I try the custom install to D:\yahoo messenger, the install program quits and goes back to windows. Why did I upgrade, oh stupid me......

It depends on what operating system you have. Typically when this happens, there is some type of registry issue. Am I correct in my assumption that D:\ is an additional partition or hard drive on this computer, and not a CD/DVD ROM? I would uninstall any versions of Yahoo on your computer, edit the registry to remove any Yahoo entries, shut down, restart, and attempt reinstallation. If that doesn't work, I would begin seeking advice from tech support. Bummer...hope you get it fixed.
