How do I appear offline in Yahoo messenger to people not on my contact list if I show on-line to 1 contact?

I've signed on as invisible and changed the stealth setting to appear online to 1 contact. Messenger says I appear online to that 1, offline to my other contacts and online to everyone else. Is there a way not to appear online to everyone else?

if it means that you appear online to everyone else on the yahoo network and you don't want that, go to http://profiles.yahoo.com/your id and click on "view my profiles" and set it accordingly.
