How do you add friends to your friends list in messenger?

How do I add contacts to my Family or Friends list on messenger?

  • I can't figure out how to catagorize my contacts in my yahoo messenger to related catagories as Family or Friends

    if your family or friends are on yahoo u can add them by clicking on contact on the top of the messenger then click add a contact

Hi. Click "CONTACTS" on Yahoo Messenger.. beside " Messenger". ..... Then scroll down to the bottom of the list and click " Organize Messenger List". ..... click " move to group" ......it will prompt you to choose which contact you want to move. Click the name to highlight it. ......click OK ......then choose which group you want to move the name to.. or you can create a new group.. it`s up to you. ......click OK When you are adding a contact... say somebody wants you to add them to your list.. a box will ask you if you want to accept the person,right? When you click accept another box appears that asks you where to place that contact.. just click the group and that`s where the name will be. Now, that should do it.
