if you RIGHT click, does it give you the option to ENABLE LINKS? that might be the problem... you need to have them enabled. You may be able to sort it just by clicking enable links there, and it may give you the option to ALWAYS enable them Other than that I think theres something you do with the toolbar at the top of you page... If you click on the help at the top of the internet page In there you find the INDEX Go down the alphabetical list and find LINKS... then just keep going thru that list there,... theres bound to be one in there that will help you find what you are looking for There is also a place on your address bar to CUSTOMISE links... this might be where you need to go... Trial and error... thats how I learnt!!! Good Luck!

Well first see if you have a default browser selected, that is what prevents a lot of people from being able to view profiles, click links, use the Yahoo Mail shortcut at the top of Y!M etc. I do want to caution you though against clicking links you do not know are safe. Bad links can be used to steal accounts, or take you to a website that will try to download malware onto your computer. OK that being said try this: PROBLEMS VIEWING PROFILES, OPENING LINKS, CHECKING MAIL (PLEASE NOTE: If you are using Norton Internet Security (includes firewall and antivirus). It is known to interfere with ability to view profiles and there is no fix (I am not sure if this has changed in the 2008 or 2009) version so try the fixes first). The antivirus alone seems to be OK. I am not sure about Norton 360). Not being able to open Yahoo Profiles, not being able to click links in Yahoo Messenger or chat rooms, not being able to go directly to your Yahoo Mail via the Mail Icon at the top of YM are most likely browser issues. Often it is just a matter of choosing a default browser. If you do not know what version of IE you have then click Help at the top of the browser window and then About Internet Explorer. The first thing to try is just to check to make sure that the problem is not because you have a pop-up blocker installed or if the IE popup blocker is set too high. Simply hold down Ctrl key while clicking View Profile or the link you want to open. This will bypass popup blocker and is a quick fix to try. If that worked then you can adjust your popup blocker settings. If not then keep reading for the next step which is to make sure that you have a Default Browser chosen. Before completing the steps below exit (not just sign out) Yahoo! Messenger by right clicking the Yahoo! Icon by your clock and choosing Exit. INTERNET EXPLORER 7 and 8: Read instructions on how to make Internet Explorer 7 or 8 as your default browser: http://www.internetfixes.com/feature/IF01352.htm FIREFOX 3 Read instructions on how to make Firefox your default browser: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How+To+Make+Firefox+The+Default+Browser I use Firefox as my default browser and I do not have issues viewing profile or having links open for me at all but for the rare few that do, they might have to make IE the default browser. After setting your default browser, close the browser window and launch Yahoo Messenger. Your problem should be fixed.

Unfortunately you do say what browser you are using or what version it is If it is IE visit microsoft support and find how to reset it similar to this article ( Hope you can use the link - if not - copy and paste into your search bar ) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936213/en-us To find your browser version - open your browser - click Help scroll down to bottom and click 'About ******' '
