I'm unable to delete a yahoo contact from yahoo messenger. I get sign out each time I try to delete it ??

I'm always unable to delete one of my yahoo contact from my yahoo messenger. Whenever I try to delete the contact I get sign out from my messenegr !! Beleive me it happenes to me. I'm never be able to delete that contact!!! can anyone help me??its really irritating at times
