Help with my Yahoo Messenger?

Could anyone please help me out for the Yahoo Messenger Sign In problem?

When I click on the Sign In button in the Yahoo Messenger after typing the username and password, the windows shows as Signing In as <ID> for few minutes and it automatically gets disconnected and comes back to the same Sign In window. I don't think I don't have any problem in the internet. I'm using a broadband connection. I'm able to connect other messengers such as MSN Messenger, Google Talk, Rediff Bol, etc. I don't use any proxy servers till now. Also, my Windows XP SP2 is fully updated till August 2007. I'm able to use the Yahoo Messenger in my Yahoo Mail. I tried to connect Yahoo Messenger using Trillian like third party Messenger softwares but of no use. I also tried re-installing Yahoo Messenger by downloading the latest version 8.1 from the Yahoo website, but of no use. I've tried restarting my machine, router, clearing my temporary files, caches etc, but of no use. I'm not totally frustrated. Could anyone please help me in troubleshooting this problem at the earliest

Yahoo is still doing upgrades to their servers & services. Have you tried changing your connection to " No Network detection" ? On main yahoo messenger click messenger ( before signing in ) . Then connection preferences.
