Why won't WLM sign me in?

Windows live messenger wont let me sign in ?

  • see basically i went round a friends house and his internet was down so i used his neighbours (my other friend) and it was fine on firefox,i try using wlm and it says server is down... so im like ok but my other mate is signed on perfect so i try hotmail, works fine. so i thought ok i will wait a while then try again.... an hour passes still no sign in, till the next day i go home, connect to my internet... try signing in still server down blah blah blah, then i know my sisters email and password... i try that signs in perfect? i also try uninstalling it, but its not there to uninstall, i would normally ask my brother with him being tech smart, but he is not awake yet so any help in the meentime?

This is why i wont use windows live messenger again,i had constant problems like that and couldn't contact my fiance in America, i ended up having to phone him to tell him msn was down. Finally i discovered that constant uninstalling and reinstalling worked,but i had to do it every day. We now use skype,have done for over 12 months now,never once had problems signing in and the quality of calls is amazing- ok you dont have the emotes and fonts that msn has but it's better, Sorry for going on lol
