How do I uninstall Yahoo messenger when it doesn't let me uninstall it?

Why doesnt the yahoo messenger let me sign in?

  • i tried downloading the new yahoo mesennger and when i did my computer restarted and when i tried signing in it wont let me..what is wrong..can anyone help me please..i love getting on my yahoo messenger....ooo and i have slow internet if that has to do with anything..lol...thanx!=)

    Your firewall may be blocking it. Go to your firewall control window and see if you can unblock it if that is the problem. You might also try a reboot and see if that works. Failing that, do a System Restore to a time before your updated yahoo messenger and you will be using the previous version of messenger

slow internet can have everything to do with yahoo messenger messing up. When your computer is "lagging" (running slow) not all programs can load and run properly. You might need to clean out your hard drive or even upgrade your ram to have your computer run peak. As far as your isp connection, nothing is worse than dial up.....Dial up will always give you problems no matter what.
