    Yahoo messenger is having a problem internally. It is not your computer. There are many people having sign in problems with Yahoo messenger at this time it appears Yahoo doesn't even know how to resolve this problem at this time. We will all have to play the waiting game for now. Messenger worked fine for me with no issues until a few days ago i tried various things as well and nothing works. The problem is Yahoo messenger itself.

Yahoo's server seems to be going through some problems all day today. haven't had any luck logging in myself; tried all day. It's not the version problem either; mine was 8.0 and I have been using that perfectly fine; today couldn't log in so updated to 8.1, still no good.
