How do you sign up for window live messenger?

Window live messenger do I have to pay to sign up for this?

  • I would like to know if I have to pay to sign up for the Window live messenger. I've sign up with Linkedin.com and it directs me to this website to sign up. Please in desperate need to know if this is free to sign up. Carolyn S

    Well Carolyn it is free I know that because I would not have one if it had a fee to sign up.But you do need a hotmail to have one.

You should go to http://im.live.com/messenger/im/home/?source=MSNTDLINK or try http://msn.com if that other link does not work. Then look for the link that says messenger over on the right side and click it. From there,you can download Windows Live Messenger. It is free, and I do believe you have to have a hotmail account. Hotmail is also free (make sure you choose the free version). So just download the messenger from that site I linked,which is the official site. And then install it as it gives directions to.
