How do I get 2 yahoo messenger accounts?

I can't get my yahoo messenger to sign me in. I have two different accounts and neither will sign me in. ?

  • I have tried changing the internet settings but this still doenst work. The message I keep getting when I try to sign in is "messenger encountered a problem. Please check the network connection and then click try again (81003004)" - help I have no idea about computers.

    Try this,,,, Click on Start Button/ Settings/ Control Panel/ Add or Remove Programs. DUMP anything that says Yahoo Messenger (toolbar, address book etc etc etc) they will be listed at the bottom of that window if there are any), and go to this website,,,,, http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=... and install the 7.0 (my suggestion, one of which I HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH). BE SAFE Cheri PS. Stay away from the 9.0 version it still has bugs being worked out, and like I suggested, the 7.0 is the most stable. And no you will NOT lose any Contacts from a previous version you ran, they are all saved on Yahoos Sever and will transfer to whatever version you install.

Thank-you very much for your help. I had uninstalled the yahoo twice and then downloaded it again but I had been downloaing the newer one which obviously has some problems. I can use one of my ID's on the 7 version so I've just ditched my second ID and made a new one. Thanks for ya help!
