Who made Yahoo?

Is it possible to block someone who has made threats of violence against you in Yahoo Messenger?

• I have a friend who has been tormented by a 17 yr old this person has threatened to assult both my friend and my friends computer. She has blocked every yahoo ID this person has come up with, only to have this person change their ID and come back with more How do we get rid of this person for good?? How do we keep anything from this person from reaching our yahoo id again?? thank you

  You're trying to hit a moving target. You can't block her unless you block everyone not on your buddy list. While possible, it restricts you as well. Unless you're seriously attached to your Yahoo ID, you may want to consider changing yours. I realize it's not fair, but it may be your only option if she bothers you that much. Take a second ID for now and leave the current one sit idle until she loses interest. Beyond that, you'd have to elevate it to the appropriate authorities, which would be a pretty extreme route.
