Why i cant open my yahoo messenger?

why i can not open my yahoo messenger for almost a week now....is the network not working or is their any problem on my ym? when i click the icon for yahoo messenger(ym) it wont open...even in my desktop logo yahoo messenger(ym) i tried to click but to no avail...pls do help me...thanks...

Sounds like a glitch. I would try to uninstall and reinstall it. That should fix the problem. If you cant uninstall it from the add/remove programs, you'll have to totally remove it manually. Which means you have to go to the C drive, Program Files, then scroll down and delete the Yahoo! folder. Its a pain, but you wont lose anything besides your settings. Good luck!
