Why I can't put my mobile # in my YM?

Why cant i see the messages people are writing me on YM?

when im using my messenger i know that they are typing the message but once they sent it i cant see the messages. even my own message which i typed does not appear..what can be the problem of my ym? ive done this Please follow this path. Tools > internet options> globe icon> custom level> scroll down> enable Active Scripting> enable Allow paste operations via script> enable scripting of Java appalets> ok> apply > ok. It will solve ur problem. and it still doesnt work

OK! Try this" ► Goto your task bar and right click on your messenger icon. ► Click on Exit. ► It will ask you if you are you want to exit yahoo messenger. Click on OK. ► Goto your desktop and click on your messenger icon and reopen your messenger. ► This should clear up any problems. I had to do this a few time when I first got messenger and it worked for me. Good Luck! Mr. Jeff
