Why doesn't the messenger load?

Problems with the new yahoo messenger with voice?

• we downloaded the new at&t yahoo messenger and so far it is a piece of **** and it doesnt work right. It wont load or even sign me in. I have done everything from taking the firewalls off and restarting the puter to taking the messenger off of the puter and it still doesnt work. I just want to know how to get the other messenger we had back that one worked soooo much better. does neone have ne suggestions??

  Are you referring to the Yahoo Beta Version? If so.......... Before a commercial software program is released to the public, it usually goes through a "beta" phase. During this stage, the software is tested for bugs, crashes, errors, inconsistencies, and any other problems. Though beta versions of software used to be made available only to developers, they are now sometimes made available for the general public to test, usually through the software company's Web site. If you choose to download, install and/or test a beta software program, don't be surprised if it has multiple problems and causes your computer to repeatedly crash. After all, it is the beta version. You can tell if a program is still in beta by checking the program's properties. Most sites will only recommend that testers and developers download these version as BETA software is by definition, still in test mode, and as such presents a certain level of risk to the end user. If you go back to the page where you downloaded this program, it distinctly says it is a BETA version I suggest you uninstall the program and go back to using the current 7.5 Version.
