Is it illegal to do Nude chat on webcam in Yahoo chat rooms?

Yahoo Chat rooms and Webcams - related to connection preferences!?

  • Ok... so for the past few weeks I haven't been able to access the chat rooms. Trying to join just says it took too long after a while. So I started playing with some settings. I've found that when I change my Connection preferences to "Firewall with no proxies" I can actually enter rooms (usually)! Then I realized that with this new connection setting, I cannot start my webcam! When I try to start it, the light comes up showing it's being activated but yahoo says "you appear to be behind a firewall and are unable to use webcam service". Sure enough, if I change my connection settings back to "No proxies", my webcam works just fine, but I can't join rooms anymore! I'm using Symantec Internet Security and I've configured it to allow yahoo with unrestricted inbound and outbound traffic on both TCP and UCP. No change. Can a few others please try this as well on their systems? Maybe it's just me, but if we determine there's a pattern, MAYBE... just MAYBE... yahoo will FIX IT!! lol
