Is there a way to retrieve offline messages if you accidently sign off??

i turned on computer and was waiting for everything to load, i signed out of messenger and it deleted my offline messages. is there any way to retreive them?

Answer:
You have to go into your preferences and change the setting to save offline messages,if this is already set then go into your archive and you can view all old messages by day and person
