How do I join a yahoo group?

How Yahoo Group receives my request to join one of the groups when I didn't event request?

Often I am receiving emails stating that " We received your request to join our HOT ADULT CAM GROUP". As much as I hate the "WHORES", so I would never join or participate any such group. Instead if I ever find any petition is/was made to ban this kind of invitation that somebody never requested, yet receiving those garbage emails, I would be more than glad to join those petitions. I want to know how the hell this HOT ADULT WEB CAM GROUP receives my request to join them, when I am always and alway sending them to SPAM. It supposed to be blocked, but it is not blocking, WHY?
