Yahoo Messenger 10 SMS messages not going through, can you help?

Send SMS messages from Yahoo! Messenger to Singtel Users?

• I'm living in Vietnam, and i need to send SMS messages to my friends in Singapore. But i receive this error all the time i try 'Yahoo! Messenger cannot send SMS messages to this mobile number: +65xxxxxxxx.' Can anyone please help me resolve this problem.

  Same problem here when trying to SMS the Philippines: "Yahoo! Messenger cannot send SMS messages to this mobile number: +63xxxxxxxx." ~ Your guess is as good as mine. Seems others are having this sort of problem too. Now I'm just about convinced that it's not the carrier's fault .. and that Yahoo is the problem. ______________________________________… Found this fix for the Philippines .. it may be of use to you: I think I found a "fix"..it worked for me. It has something to do with "clearing" the number off Yahoo's server. On your Messenger list, go down to the person with whom you have been texting and are no longer able. Click on "View/Edit Contact Details". In the "Mobile" number box, insert a "KNOWN" number that you can send a text to. I used my own cell number. Now click "Save&Close". Go back to the contacts name ("View/Edit Contact Details"). You should now see that "SMS Messaging Supported" is displayed. Replace the number with the Philippines number, then click "Save&Close". Then go back to "View/Edit Contact Details" .. if it worked, it should say, under mobile number "SMS Messaging Supported".
