Is anyone having problems with windows messenger?

Windows live messenger problems, can anyone help?

• Basically, I've had this problem for a while, on different computers, even on different internet connections, I think im cursed to use MSN. Anyway, I've deleted, reinstalled, shut down, opened, signed out, signed back in a million times, and still its the same. Messeges dont get sent, i get signed out often. Messeges dont come to me, and webcams nearly always fail. Does anyone know whats wrong? Do i need to change any settings? cheers

  I would say its your Internet connection, are the different computers in the same house hold? Office? If they are, I would try to have the connect reset first off. If its in your home, turn off the computers... turn off the router (if you have one), then the modem... count to 30, then plug the modem back in, wait for the lights to all come on solid, then plug in the router.. then turn on your computers. They may or may not help, I know mine likes to partially kick me off. It will kick me off the Internet, but will still say its connected. Its weird. If that DOESNT fix it, it may be a firewall problem. It may have something to do with your firewall or your anti-virus, or even your anti-spyware program. Or all three, if you have all three. If that is the case, all I can say is to turn them off and see what happens, beyond that... I cant help. G'luck!!
