On yahoo messenger, why won't it let me go into yahoo chat rooms?

I am unable to login into yahoo chat rooms. But i can chat with friends who are already there in my messenger.?

I am unable to use yahoo chat rooms. I uninstalled and re installed yahoo messenger several times. I am not able to use chat rooms after installing a programme. But I don't remember which programme is that! Help me to find friends using chat rooms. I am unable to use chat rooms even with trillian.
