Why can't I send files through Yahoo messenger?

My yahoo messenger is not working >.<?

  • Ok well my yahoo messenger is not working correctly.. i cant see IMs i send and receive. and i already have clear my temporary files and i reinstall windows service pack 3 and the new yahoo messenger. and it still doesn't work. HAS ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND HAVE FIXED?!?!?!it really sucks

    Are the IMs showing in the archives? If so make sure scripting is enabled. To do this * Sign out of Messenger * Open Internet Explorer, hit tools, Internet options, click on the security tab to select it. * Under select a web content make sure that the Internet icon ( world globe ) is selected * Under security level for this zone click on custom...The settings window will open scroll down to the category heading " Scripting " and select " enable " for the following * Active Scripting * Allow paste operations via script * Scripting of Java applets Click OK, then click OK again. Open Messenger and try it again

Do this,,,, Click on Start Button/ Settings/ Control Panel/ Add or Remove Programs. DUMP anything that says Yahoo Messenger (toolbar, address book etc etc etc) they will be listed at the bottom of that window if there are any), and go to this website,,,,, http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=... and install the 7.0 (my suggestion, one of which I HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH). BE SAFE Cheri PS. Stay away from the 9.0 version it still has bugs being worked out, and like I suggested, the 7.0 is the most stable. And no you will NOT lose any Contacts from a previous version you ran, they are all saved on Yahoos Sever and will transfer to whatever version you install.
