How can I fix the blurriness of my webcam?

My webcam goes black when viewed by my contact,how do i fix this?

• i'm using the yahoo messenger for mac 3 beta version on my mac mini with a Genius VideocamTrek usb webcam, while my wife is using a PC with yahoo messenger 8 beta with a creative webcam. At first when the webcam feature works fine but after a few seconds or so my wife says that it becomes just black.when i invite her again to view my webcam it works again then goes black.but on my mac i can see her clearly just fine. i used Mercury messenger (Hotmail) to know if my webcam has the problem, but it doesn't coz it works just fine on Msn Messenger. please note that i'm on the Mac side using the Yahoo Messenger for Mac 3 Beta, while shes on the PC using the Yahoo Messenger 8 Beta too. Please help.

  Unfortunately I have no answer, but I really have troubles with Yahoo webcam service. It is discribed 4 weeks ago by other persons and closed for answers. I want to communicate with webcam and IM, but either my friend nor myself cannot view each others cam. Most of the time both of us cannot use the webcam. It says "User is offline", "User does not have his/her webcam online". That is certainly not true. I have the latest version of Yahoo Messenger for Mac, my friend has a PC-version. It seems to be that Yahoo is suddenly not able to communicate between these two systems any more. I never had problems before of this kind. These problems are only with Yahoo since a while and not with other messengers.
