Yahoo messenger problem, it won't open?

My yahoo messenger doesn't work out....once i click the YM it doesn't open....is it the problem is the server

  • im chatting with my husband...then it sign out automatically...then i click my yahoo messenger to open it again...but when i click Yahoo Messenger it doesn't open....whats the problem? i ddownload again Yahoo Messenger but still it doesn't work out

    You probably have a corrupted file in the Yahoo folder in your Program Files which seems to happen alot. So just uninstall yahoo messenger again and do a fresh install. Follow the instructions below in order to get a clean install !! When you uninstall not all of yahoo messenger is taken out of your Program Files, and if the problem you are having is caused by a corrupted file then the problem will still be there when you install it again. So what you need to do is uninstall messenger again then go to your Program files and delete the yahoo folder. To do that click on the start button in your task bar then on My Computer then C: drive then Program Files then right click on the Yahoo folder and Delete it. It's a good idea to reboot your PC now to make sure it's all gone out of you system. Now you can go here > http://messenger.yahoo.com/ and get the 8.1 yahoo messenger. I suggest staying away from the 9.0 beta as the 8.1 version is more stable and does not have the bugs the beta version has!!! Hope this helps

Sometimes, due to lack of patience, we go on clicking on a particular item again and again. This makes it go hanged. It has happened with me many times. Click once on the icon, and wait patiently. It'll come within a couple of minutes.
