My Y!Messenger keeps closing when i open it or try to sign in, sometimes it doesnt respond. How do fix this?

Every time i open Y!Messenger, or try to sign in, it closes.(crashes) So i un-installed it, and downloaded the Y!Messenger from the website. When it was complete, i installed it. And I'm still experiencing the same problem. It keeps crashing when i open the application. Can anyone help me?
Answer:

Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs then click on Yahoo Instant Messenger and uninstall it. Do a restart and then go to yahoo.com and download the messenger again.

i know its really irritating their must be a corrupt file in it because it crashed my whole computer i am not going to download it again i am gonna stick with msn. yahoo is having a lot of problems lately and its getting annoying. i think we should all right to them...
