How to connect yahoo msn with msn messenger?

I'm now using the old version of msn messenger as my pc is loaded with window 98 os,when in try to load the new msn messenger the system cannot support it. Pls help. I added yahoo messenger friends before, & i could see them, bit now no matter how we add each another still cannot get connected. Pls help

Try using trillian - http://www.download.com/Trillian/3000-2150-10047473.html You can connect to MSN, Yahoo, ICQ contacts all at once. You will need to check if Windows 98 will support it first though - have to admit, I'm not sure.
