Still cant see messages on yahoo messenger?

What do you do when you cant see any messages sent to you on yahoo messenger?

  • I've uninstalled yahoo and then reinstalled and still can't see any messages sent to me or when i reply nothing shows up just a blank window... Thanks

    From Yahoo Messenger Help Page: You may have scripting disabled in your Internet Explorer. To enable scripting: Click the "Tools" menu on your Internet Explorer toolbar and select "Internet Options." Click the "Security" tab. Click the Internet (globe) icon and click the "Custom Level" button. Scroll down to "Scripting." Enable the following: * Active scripting * Allow paste operations via script * Scripting of Java applets are all enabled Click the OK button at the bottom of the window. Note: Restart Yahoo! Messenger and you should start seeing text in your IM windows again.

Try to send a message to you. If this message is received, all is OK and maybe the persons you gave your addres have the wrong one. But if you don´t receive YOUR msg. you have something fishy. A virus can be the problem.
