Why can't I download Yahoo IM?

Help... cant see writing.. and download works for yahoo messenger.. but not myspace im..?

• i am trying to download myspace im . it was already on my computer and when trying to get to it .. it says problems with writing. . i tried to go to the control panel and delete the installed program and restall but it says it is either deleted or changed when trying to download the myspace im it goes almost to the end and after you check install it says problems with writing abort , retry, delete it wont let me click anything except abort. i have deleted all conversations from the desktop and everything.. . and i wanted to see if i could download another app. since that wasnt working .. it let me do yahoo mess. but i cant see anything that is sent or that the other person is sending.. help please.

  search your pc for myspace im, programmes leave files behind even after deletion.right click on any found and choose delete then empty recycle bin. usually when type is not showing in IMs its a registry fault clean your registry if you dont have a registry cleaner heres a good free one http://www.eusing.com/free_registry_cleaner/registry_cleaner.htm
